It was very peaceful for me to paint this because I started with a large blank canvas and a desire within me to paint it. I had no sketch, and no plan of what I wanted to paint that evening. It just came to being!!
I am a self employed medical legal consultant, an artist, and a mom of 2 great boys. I'm always learning and always growing....both in my life and in my art.
I have had 2 art shows at Cantine Restaurant located at 138 Avenue Rd. which were successful so I want to thank you all for coming to see my art and thanks also to those who purchased pieces. The proceeds of my first painting sale went to an organization and friend who went to Africa last summer for a month to help build a medical clinic in the remote Village of Mana in Mali. The clinic is now open and functioning and babies and families are receiving life saving injections, medications and medical care. How awesome.
I love to bring joy to the world in any way I can, and hope you enjoy your journey through my art blog. Oct 10/09: My new project beginning this month is I am painting a commisssioned piece a large canvas of an angel with a purple hue. I will post it when finished!
